"Ashkit, please open your eyes!" Poppykit whined, prodding her sister with a small, delicate paw. Ashkit squeezed into a compactor circle, her eyes shutting tighter.
Poppykit grumbled something, before nuzzling Gingerfire's belly. Her sister had yet to open her eyes, and Poppykit was expectantly waiting. What color would they be? Blue? Green? Amber? Poppykit grinned as she remembered her mother telling her that Poppykit's eyes were a gray-blue color.
"Poppykit, don't pester Ashkit. She'll open her eyes when she's ready to," Poppykit flattened her ears to her head once she heard their mother, Gingerfire, purr, licking her daughters cheek.
"I'm tired of waiting to go outside, mother. Can I just go out now?" she asked, placing a paw on top of Gingerfire's foreleg.
Gingerfire just shook her head. Great. When will she open her eyes? Poppykit looked at Ashkit, who's eyes were still tightly closed

Fernpaw shifted uncomfortably as Crowpaw stared coldly at her, before padding to the fresh kill pile. Her brother was not a good cat, he was set on becoming whatever he wanted to be, even if that meant cold-blooded murder.
Crowpaw disappeared into the bramble tunnel leading out of GaleClan camp, and Fernpaw took a breath of relief. He's even threatened to kill me, Fernpaw shakily got up, padding to the fresh kill pile. And that's not how it's supposed to be. The skinny gray-and-white apprentice just murmured something, before choosing a mouse.
"Fernpaw," She growled as someone called her name, only taking a bite of her mouse. Flightstar padded toward her, his golden eyes bright. "After you're done eating, Sootstorm and Crowpaw will be training with us out in the training hollow."
Fernpaw blinked, before nodding. Quickly eating the rest of her meal, she got up and trailed after Flightstar, running to his side. The large golden brown tabby blinked warmly at her, before bounding off. Fernpaw raced after her mentor, ducking underneath a low branch, and running freely out into the moors.
Kittypets will never understand this feeling, Fernpaw smiled as the wind blew through her fur, and her paws crashed through the gorse and heather.
This feeling was only brought down as she stopped, seeing Crowpaw grinning at her evilly, the two mentors unaware of a killer in their mists.
Okay, I am so so so so SORRY!!!!!!!!! I abandoned you all. I feel so terrible. I know this post is short, but please, forgive me. I promise to be active.
AND, PoplarClan is no longer up, and I believe Ana isn't active in blogger, so I'll choose a new deputy if that's the case.

A New Start
It was a calm, peaceful night. Flightstar padded through the moors, the long stalks of grass brushing calmly against his well-camoflauged golden brown tabby fur. The new leaders eyes were bright will accomplishment as he continued to pad forward, a dark, lean shadow against the dusky sky.
Flightstar's pawsteps were light, skimming across the dirt floor. Though some kicked up in small dusty clouds on his fur, he just smiled, still padding forward to the GaleClan camp. I can't believe it, he thought as he came to a small, sheltered hole with two cats gaurding it on both sides. I'm finally leader. He smiled to the gaurds warmly.
They both dipped their heads respectivly, scooting over to let him through. Once Flightstar padded into camp, he soon felt his eyes twinkle with amusement at the fiasco happening in the GaleClan.
"Flightfeather!" a small, young ginger tabby she-cat called, bounding over to him. "Or is it Flightstar now?" she asked, her fur prickling with curiousity.
Flightstar grinned at her. "It's Flightstar, Applepaw. Just because Streakstar didn't recieve his nine lives, doesn't mean every leader doesn't," he purred in amusement, flicking her ear with his tail. Applepaw rolled her eyes, before retreating back to her game with her brother, Foxpaw.
The golden brown tabby's eyes drifted towards the Windstone, the wind-grinded rock dark and ominous against the setting sun. I have to appoint my deputy...and Sootpaw needs to become a warrior. he thought, before padding towards the rock.
The sharing of tongues conversations of GaleClan's victory died down as Flightstar leaped onto the Windstone, his eyes glowing in the darking light.
"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather beneath the Windstone for a clan meeting!" he called, his voice flowing through the light wind that picked up. Dark feline shapes flitted through the darkness, gathering beneath the Windstone.
Where do I begin? he thought as he realized that he held all of these cats trust in his very own paws. "I am no longer Flightfeather, but now I am Flightstar! I have recieved my nine lives, and am ready to become leader of this clan!" he announced.
"Flightstar! Flightstar! Flightstar! Flightstar!" the cats of GaleClan cheered. Flightstar smiled and dipped his head, feeling even more accepted in GaleClan.
"Streakstar treachery was enough to bare. He did kill the innocent Longwhisker, who was only trying to fufiill his rightful place as deputy. I am lucky that you all chose me to fill Streakstar's place after he was hit by that monster," he mewed. Memories of Longwhisker and Streakstar filled his head; the memories of Longwhisker's blood staining the Windstone as Streakstar slaughtered him in front of the whole of GaleClan, and the memory of Streakstar, running off after his murder, and getting crushed by the monster.
Realizing his pause, he continued. "We are lucky that Streakstar only had one life instead of nine. StarClan must of known his deeds would only bring darkness and bloodshed amongst the clans. Now, enough about Streakstar. I have two ceremonies to preform!" he announced.
"I first need a deputy. I say these words before Longwhisker in StarClan, so he can hear and approve of my choice. Fawnfrost will be the new deputy of GaleClan." he announced.
The gray she-cat looked shocked that she would fill Longwhisker's place, her mouth flapping as if trying to speak, until she just nodded and finally spoke. "I-I thank you, Flightstar. I know I can never replace Longwhisker, but I'll try," she stuttered, before finally giving in and dipping her head.
"Fawnfrost! Fawnfrost! Fawnfrost! Fawnfrost!"
"And now, I name a new warrior. Sootpaw, please step forward. You showed courage and battle skill in the battle against those rouges, and now I believe it's my duty to name you a full warrior.
"I, Flightstar, leader of GaleClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to learn the ways of your noble code, and now I ask that you commend him a warrior in turn. Do you, Sootpaw, promise to uphold the warrior code, and to protect GaleClan, even at the cost of your life?" he asked, releived that he remembered how to preform a warrior ceremony.
"I-I do." he mewed, his green eyes shining.
"Than you will be known as Sootstorm. StarClan honors you for your courage and bravery, and welcomes you as a full warrior of GaleClan."
"Sootstorm! Sootstorm! Sootstorm! Sootstorm!" the clan cheered once again.
My clan is growing, Flightstar thought as Sootstorm jumped off of the Windstone and was surronded by the cats of GaleClan congradulating him. thank you, Longwhisker.

Gingerfire couldn't believe what she was staring at. Right there, in her nest, two tiny she-kits lay, their chests rising and falling in unison. They were the most beautiful things.
One was almost an exact copy of Gingerfire herself. Gingerfire didn't know what to name her, but she had some feeling. The other was smaller, and was a gray tabby with a white chest and paws.
"Gingerfire? May I see them?" The fluffy black-and-russet tortoiseshell she-cat looked up to see Applepaw peeking through the brambles, her eyes widening when she saw the queens kits.
"Of course, Applepaw," Gingerfire mewed, removing her fluffy tail so that Applepaw could see the two kits fully.
"Oh, Gingerfire, they're beautiful!" Applepaw cooed with delight. Gingerfire smiled, before licking her kits heads.
"I'm thinking of naming the tortoiseshell Poppykit, and the gray tabby Ashkit," she purred, resting her tail on the kits as she named them.
Applepaw smiled. Gingerfire let out a purr, when a cool draft hit her. Shivering, she couldn't help but hear an small whisper...
"The bird that takes flight will become rabid, and the streaks of lightning will strike the gales torrent if the ashes of the wildfire need not come." That voice...was..familar. Gingerfire's eyes welled with tears as she thought of it's owner.
Flintclaw... she thought, remembering her decesed mate. Though everything seemed to spin...that prophecy rang in her ears.
